asquared was founded by Aoife Flynn in 2009 to provide a bespoke and contemporary service to individuals and organisations, primarily in the creative sector.

Born in Sligo, Aoife started her career in Dublin with The Dublin Theatre Festival, then Abhann Productions, and has over a decade of experience in arts management and marketing. An expert in event production Aoife has successfully produced private, commercial and arts events of all sizes. Passionate about arts marketing and audience development Aoife specialises in strategic digital marketing and has a deep understanding of arts audiences honed during her Development Manager role at The Model - one of Ireland's leading contemporary arts centres. During her time at The Model Aoife increased audiences, developed innovative music programmes, spearheaded their online marketing initiatives, developed a long term marketing strategy for the organisation, developed and managed a major re-branding project, and developed a major web platform.

Aoife is an experienced contemporary music programmer, having established The Model's exceptional music programme while working as their Music and Events Programmer (2003-2009) and has an proven ability to work closely with artists to deliver innovative projects.

Aoife has an extremely flexible skillset with a significant strength in devising and producing events. For the past three years she has been the General Manager of EdCom; comedy shows producers for the Edinburgh Festival Fringe. She devised, promoted and produced the Fancy Pants Castle Party (a charity event held in 2008) and developed the innovative music series' Month of Sundays and Fresh Air with Donal Dineen. She continues to work closely with musicians and artists like Donal Dineen, David Kitt and Maeve Higgins to develop and mange their projects or advise/manage their online presences.  She has also acted as a Digital Marketing mentor for The Arts Council's Arts Audiences Mentoring Programme.

In the area of cultural research and strategy Aoife has recently been contracted by Sligo Library Service to research and advise on a Literary Festival, and by Sligo Arts Service to research and consult on the establishment of a new support venture called Sligo Music.
